Kristi McInerney (Dreyer) and her husband Michael, own and operate Dance Fusion Studio for Performing Arts. As a young woman, she had the opportunity to study at the Lehigh Valley Ballet Guild under the instruction of the late Alexi
Ramov. Kristi is a 1997 graduate of DeSales University with a Bachelor's Degree in Dance. She has over 14 years of experience in teaching children and adults of all ages and levels in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Creative Movement, and Yoga. She has performed and choreographed for several shows at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, currently for the locally televised Greater Ms. Berks County Scholarship Organization, and for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Kristi has also choreographed for many local High School Musicals and Lehigh Valley and Berks County area festivals. She was Assistant Director for the Eastern Pennsylvania Ballet Theatre for 6 years where she choreographed and produced several productions of The Nutcracker and quite a few other children's Ballets. Kristi continues to develop her skills as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher by attending classes, performances, and workshops on a regular basis. She incorporates a positive and fun teaching style, emphasizing self- confidence and performance in her classes.
Barb Vogelgesang has performed throughout the United States, Canada and Japan with various shows. She is a graduate of St. John's University, NYC with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Ringling Bros. Clown College and has studied at Frog Hollow Studios and The Actor's Studio in Manhattan. Barb has been teaching voice, theater, speech, writing and circus arts throughout PA and at various conventions across the country. She is a published author and popular seminar speaker. The proud mom of 4 performers, Barb is also the founder and director of the Imaginatory Theater Company.
Alexandra Reekie earned her B.A. in both Dance and Media & Communications from Muhlenberg College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2007 as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. For the past two years, Alex has been teaching for the Muhlenberg Community Dance Center, and Allentown Middle Schoolís Camp Imagine Performing Arts Camp. Alex choreographed for and performed in numerous concerts during her four years at Muhlenberg, and she has worked with such choreographers as Keith Thompson, Tiffany Mills, Charles O. Anderson, and Shelley Oliver. Her choreography was showcased at the 2007 American College Dance Festival, and she recently presented a new work and performed in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival in September 2007.
MaryBeth Kemp is a graduate of Kean University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During her 16 year ownership of Dance Pointe Studio in Hamburg, PA, MaryBeth formed and directed the Eastern Pennsylvania Ballet Theater, a non-profit program that promoted the intensive study and performance of Classical Ballet. Her professional performing experience includes the New Jersey Ballet Co. and the William Chaison Dance Theater. She has judged for many local and national talent organizations. MaryBeth is also serving as a board member of the Our Town Foundation of Hamburg. She is a founder and current member of the Hamburg Area Arts Alliance.
Sarah Nasto holds a BFA in Theater Arts from the Hartt School in Hartford, CN. Since the age of three, she has studied acting, voice and movement extensively. She participated in the prestigious Shakespeare Intensive Training Program in Birmingham, England. Throughout her dance career, Sarah has trained at STEPS on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in New York City with distinctive artists, Bob Rizzo, Frank Hatchett, and Donna Cotter. Professional performance credits include film, Television, and Theater. Her comprehensive training and positive and charismatic attitude make her a popular lyrical, tap and jazz teacher. She is mom to adorable twin girls.
